From the Author’s Heart

Every word in this memoir has been penned with a silent prayer. What you now hold in your hands is an honest, unflinching account of my life—a tapestry woven with pain, faith, and hope. I can say with conviction that it is 99 percent true.

For years, I lacked the courage to share this story. My journey was too raw, my wounds too fresh. But walking beside those fighting terminal illnesses—listening to their struggles, watching their quiet strength—I found a newfound resolve. Their courage became my inspiration, and their resilience stirred in me a duty to remember, to reflect, and finally, to write.

There were times when the burden of these memories was nearly too much to bear—when sickness or sorrow threatened to silence me. But again and again, my Lord Jesus Christ strengthened me. He reminded me that I could not give up. Alongside the emotional weight, there were tangible trials: the staggering costs of post-operative care, financial strains that could have easily broken me. Yet I pressed forward.

Much of this memoir was written in motion—jotted down in fragments between the demands of everyday life. With no journals or notes to reference, I leaned wholly on memory. It was daunting. Where does one begin to tell their life story? In childhood? Adolescence? Adulthood? Even now, I do not have a definite answer. My life has been a journey through peaks and valleys, marked by visible and invisible wounds. But in every tear and trial, the Spirit of Jesus has been my steady anchor, transforming my pain into a deeper purpose.

This book is not merely a chronicle of hardship or sickness. It is a living testimony of divine guidance. It stands as proof that even when life unravels in unimaginable ways, we need not fear or falter. God’s hand is never absent; He weaves our most broken moments into something beautiful and meaningful.

My mission is clear: to bring this story to those who need its message the most. Beyond these pages, I carry on with a deeper calling—to serve rather than be served. To fight for 100 percent literacy among the hill tribes. To be a living witness to God’s miracles, signs, and wonders through my own life.

May every word you read bring comfort, courage, and hope. And may it remind you that no matter the path, we are never alone.
